Commissioned by local jeweler Earle Smith and constructed in 1958, this lovely brick and frame residence is nestled under huge oak and pecan trees on 2 1/2 tranquil acres overlooking historic Coleman. Largely unchanged over time, The Terrace offers the discerning guest the opportunity to re-visit an amazing era in American culture while enjoying today’s conveniences.

This mid-century modern home features 3 large bedrooms, each with a private bath & shower, a beautiful living room complete with fireplace, a kitchen with all the modern conveniences but maintaining its original design and ambiance, a very spacious dining room, and inviting porches on both the front and back of the home.

All bedrooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs.  Complimentary Wi-Fi is also provided.

The Sinatra Suite

Originally the owner’s suite, this spacious and welcoming room with its lovely view of the city below would have made “Old Blue Eyes” himself feel right at home. Relax in the comfort of the king-sized Posture Gel bed wrapped in luxurious premium Frette linens. Plush Turkish towels await in the large en-suite bathroom, as well as premium toiletries from Gilchrist & Soames.

The Marilyn

No actress of the late ’50’s or early ’60’s captivated like Marilyn Monroe. This room offers not only a scenic view of the area, but also provides access to a private fenced patio under an enormous live oak tree. Enjoy the king-sized Posture Gel bed with luxury Frette linens, as well as plush Turkish towels and Gilchrist & Soames in the en-suite bath.

The Apollo

Commemorating the early days of space exploration, the Apollo room also offers outstanding views of the city and surrounding area and is also appointed with a king-sized Posture Gel bed and luxurious Frette linens. Plush Turkish towels adorn the en-suite bath, as well as premium Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.
